Owners Laura and Scott are no strangers to the wedding industry, having run their own catering company for many years. Laura explains that their venue is perfect for "those who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of life and who want a chilled wedding vibe in an idyllic Yorkshire location. A rural blank canvas for clients to build their own dream wedding handily located between York and Wetherby."
They promise "a stress-free, relaxed wedding environment where both you and your guests can enjoy our warm Yorkshire hospitality and a rural playground in which to roam free and most of all celebrate your special day". Perfect or what??
So what exactly is on offer at Horseshoe Farm? A perfectly paved courtyard to enjoy your reception drinks, served from the fully stocked Stable Bar. If the weather's not in your favour you can take shelter in the converted Stable Snug area. There's also (soon to be complete) luxury onsite wedding accommodation aka 'The Parlour' where the bridal party can get ready for the big day and the newly-weds can spend their first night as Mr & Mrs. The BIG selling point for us (of course) is the 3 acre Party Paddock - a vast area of well kept grass on which to place your dream teepee set up. There's even space for campers to pitch up tents or caravans and watch this space for the log Cabins - ready for Summer 2020!
