There’s a back story here – Anthony is as chef and runs his own catering company The Ribble Valley Group. We’ve worked with Ant lots in the past and introduced him to Becky (a friend of a friend) on our very first teepee set up back in 2015. They stayed in touch and the rest, as they say, is history.
After getting engaged in 2019 Becky and Ant originally planned their big day for 2021. The lingering pandemic meant that their original wedding date became a lower key legal ceremony and meal with close family and friends in Skipton back in 2021. They had to wait until May 2022 for their full celebration at Kilnsey Park Estate in our giant teepees – but BOY was it worth the wait!

It was such a pleasure to supply an incredible teepee set up for these guys.
The sun shone, in true Yorkshire style there was the odd, atmospheric shower and their nearest and dearest danced until the sun went down in this picture perfect Dales setting.
There were so many gorgeous touches to Becky and Ant’s day and not a dry eye in the house (field) when Becky arrived on her ‘horse of a lifetime’ Cristi.
Guests witnessed an incredibly personal hand tying ceremony outside the teepees before enjoying sharing boards, bubbly and some totally lethal Negronis made by the groom haha!
With some loved ones unable to be present there were inevitably more tears during speeches but oh so much laughter too.

Our double teepee set up created an amazing space for guests to take a seat and enjoy some grazing boards, delicious cheeses and goodies from Betty’s (Becky’s place of work). The addition of our clear extension to the back allowed in additional light and captured more amazing views down towards the river Wharfe. Abnormal Events DJ set up along with our giant mirror ball really set the tone for a night of amazing dance moves.

The Tall Toastmaster kept everything running smoothly on the day and Laura Adams captured the details perfectly – as always. What a dream team of suppliers to work with!
A number of guests stayed on site in Bells and Breakfasts beautiful bell tents allowing celebrations to flow on in to the next day with guests enjoying breakfast in the teepees before heading home to nurse their hangovers.

"My day, as a groom at last and not a chef / co-ordinator, bar man, generator fixer was awesome. After meeting Becky, my wife, in these very Teepees the very first time they went up in 2015, it was only right to have them at the main event, our own big day. What a day it was, loads of beer, food, friends, negronis, tears and dancing. The evening food was an amazing slow cooked lamb from a friend of ours done Greek gyros style! I cannot thank both Dan and Laura enough for helping us create the best day ever in the amazing teepees. We had such a great weekend all in the shadow of the awesome Cragg at Kilnsey Park estate. I can’t say much more than THANKS GUYS for everything, Anthony and Becky! xxx"
