This summer we came across The Hawkhills in Easingwold, just outside York, and WOW!! What a complete hidden gem.
This stately home venue has a rather cosy and homely feel to it. There are a couple of rooms in which to hold your ceremony, a luxurious bridal suite and dressing room, over 100 modern bedrooms for your guests to book should they wish to stay over and not one but two gorgeous locations to hold your teepee:
Option one: The Front Lawn - sitting just in front of the house itself, this space has panoramic views stretching across the adjacent countryside and plenty of space to hold your teepee set up.
Option two: The Walled Garden - this secluded walled garden has a magical and very private feel to it. Again with plenty of space to hold a large teepee set up.
